About the Artist

This gifted artist has donated her time and talent to create a beautiful breast cast for the Generation Pink auction. A wonderfully creative art form has been transformed from a plain white cast to support stopping breast cancer. Jackie Kamin

Jackie Kamin is the Community Relations Coordinator for Grand Court Kansas City. She paints during her leisure time at home.

She first took up painting when her computer broke and she wanted something creative to do with her time. Jackie paints with acrylics and most of her art is abstract or free form. She loves to use vibrant colors in her works and has painted canvases as large as 4 foot by 4 foot.

She feels fortunate to be painting the bust of a Brookdale resident and has met with her to determine the colors to be used in the art.
